High School: Capped his career at DeSmet Jesuit High School in St. Louis with Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 5 All-State honors after leading the Spartans with per-game averages of 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game … a four-year starter … as a junior, averaged a team-best 13.2 points in addition to 4.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.0 steals per game in helping the Spartans finish 15-7 and a spot in the State Class 5 quarterfinals … considered one of the top players in the St. Louis area and also played with Gateway Basketball Club for two years, earning more than a dozen offers … as a sophomore, Taylor put up per-game averages of 10.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game over the course of 29 contests, shooting 49.8 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent on three-pointers.
 
Personal: Son of Brian and CharMaine Taylor … cousin, Ray’Sean Taylor, plays basketball for the SIUE Cougars … a sports journalism major … chose Milwaukee because of the city and he loved the community and the people at the school … career goal is to play basketball professionally … most memorable sports experience was his first dunk … lists playing video games, movies, and hanging out with friends as his hobbies … born July 22, 2004.
